FAQ

How do I put an Excel table into a LaTeX paper?

Upload the .xlsx file (the first worksheet is read) and pick LaTeX output — you get a booktabs table: numeric columns right-aligned, special characters (& % $ # _ and friends) escaped, and the whole thing wrapped in a table environment, ready for a document that loads booktabs.

Can I just copy from Excel and paste?

Yes. Tables copied from Excel come as TSV (tab-separated) and are detected automatically; CSV and Markdown pipe tables work too — the tool shows what it recognized along with the row and column counts.

What can I do with the HTML or Markdown output?

Paste the HTML straight into Word or any rich-text editor and it becomes an editable native table; the Markdown works in notes or README files. TSV pasted back into Excel or WPS splits into columns automatically.
