FAQ
Which conversions are supported?
Word (.docx) to PDF, Markdown or HTML; Markdown to Word, PDF or HTML; LaTeX (.tex) to Word, HTML or Markdown; HTML to Word, Markdown or PDF; PowerPoint (.pptx) to PDF; Excel (.xlsx) to CSV or PDF (CSV exports the first sheet only). Markdown, LaTeX and HTML sources can be pasted directly — no need to save a file first. Figures in the Word file are not exported into the Markdown; they appear as relative-path references.
Why does PDF conversion require signing in?
PDF parsing runs on GPU capacity and is metered by the same per-page rules as imports; converting a PDF that was parsed before is free.
How long is my file kept?
Both the original and the converted result are kept only for a limited time (1 hour by default), then deleted automatically. The PDF parse cache is retained per platform policy so repeat conversions of the same file stay free.
Can I edit the resulting Word file?
Yes. Headings, paragraphs, tables and figures are native Word objects, and formulas are editable where possible. Complex layouts may be simplified; the report lists detected degradations. Check recognised text, table columns and caption placement against the original PDF.
